Product Description
Gas Detector Instrument GAC M10 Circulating Sampling Gas Detection Cabinet
GAC-M10 Circulating-Sampling Gas Detection Cabinet
Gas leaks are among the core safety risks to lives and assets in the marine and offshore sector. As a BV type-approved gas detection device, the GAC-M10 Circulating-Sampling Gas Detection Cabinet is increasingly the first choice of shipowners, shipyards and offshore operators.
Product Overview
The GAC-M10 Circulating-Sampling Gas Detection Cabinet is designed for low-risk, dispersed monitoring environments with high humidity and oil mist, such as ballast tanks, bilge spaces and cargo holds.
The cabinet consists of a detection cabinet and a control box. With a PLC as its control unit, a central sampling pump and switching valves draw gas samples from multiple points in sequence to a single sensor, providing circulating sequential measurement of each point's concentration and exceedance alarms. Ethernet, RS485 and digital I/O interfaces are provided, and repeaters and area audible & visual alarms can be added.
Key Features
  • Circulating sequential sampling - one sensor serves up to 64 monitoring points
  • Sampling lines up to 400 m - long-distance sampling for large vessels
  • Gas-source purging, automatic zeroing and manual range calibration - high measurement stability
  • Supports up to 4 repeaters - distributed HMI
  • Ethernet + RS485 (Modbus TCP/IP & RTU) - flexible integration
  • 8 relay outputs + 4 analog 4-20 mA outputs - strong control capability
  • IP55 protection with carbon steel housing - marine environment ready
Typical Applications
  • Ballast tanks
  • Bilge spaces
  • Cargo holds
  • Other low-risk, dispersed monitoring locations on marine and offshore installations

Why Choose a BV-Approved Product
Equipment must pass classification society type approval before being installed on marine and offshore vessels. The GAC-M10 has received BV type approval as part of the gas detection and alarm system, meaning its design, testing and production have all been validated by an international authority and it can be used on classed vessels worldwide.
BV Type Approval - A Dual Guarantee of Quality and Compliance
In the marine and offshore sector, gas detection equipment can only be installed onboard after passing type approval by an internationally recognized classification society. This product holds a Type Approval Certificate issued by Bureau Veritas (BV), confirming that its design, manufacture and performance fully meet the classification requirements for international voyages and offshore installations.
