Technical Overview
In critical monitoring scenarios where missed readings carry severe consequences, the GAC-M20 ensures reliability by providing each monitoring point with its own dedicated sensor. Continuous pump-suction sampling eliminates polling delays, delivering real-time gas detection.
Operating Principle
  • Sample Transport: Centralized pump actively draws gas from monitored spaces through dedicated sampling lines
  • Dedicated Sensing: Each of 8 channels operates with its own sensor, eliminating cross-contamination and measurement sharing
  • Self-Protection: Built-in detector monitors cabinet interior; triggers alarm, cuts pump power, and initiates purge via external gas source upon leakage detection
  • Data Path: 9 channels of 3-wire 4-20 mA output deliver results directly to central gas alarm control cabinet
Sampling Line Design
  • Eight independent sampling channels, each with dedicated line and sensor
  • Maximum sampling run of 100 meters to maintain transport delay and response time within design limits
  • Supplied filters installed at sampling points to prevent condensate and particulate from reaching sensors
  • Front-end shut-off ball valves enable single-line isolation for maintenance without cabinet shutdown
  • Purge function requires oil-free, dry instrument gas at 0.3 - 0.6 MPa
