Product Description
GAC-M20 Sizing, Zoning and Installation Guide for High-Risk LNG Spaces
Product At A Glance
The GAC-M20 and GAC-M10 solve different monitoring challenges. Select the GAC-M20 for high-risk areas requiring uninterrupted point monitoring. This 8-channel system supports continuous active sampling with individual sensors per point, sampling lines under 100 m, front-end filters and shut-off ball valves, flame arrestors at both inlet and outlet, and a built-in gas detection alarm.
Selection Guide
Use GAC-M20 for high-risk zones; GAC-M10 circulating cabinet for low-risk dispersed points
Plan for 8 sampling channels per cabinet with each pipeline under 100 m
Ensure oil-free dry instrument gas supply at 0.3 - 0.6 MPa for purge function
Compatible detectors: GT-C100, GQ-C100G and GQ-C100B for O₂, CH₄, H₂ and other gases
Installation Requirements
Position cabinet outside hazardous areas when possible, in ventilated spaces with full service access. Account for footprint: 1800 × 800 × 500 mm and weight up to 100 kg.
Route eight sampling lines via shortest practical paths, none exceeding 100 m
Provide oil-free dry instrument gas at 0.3 - 0.6 MPa for purge function
Connect nine 3-wire 4-20 mA output channels to gas alarm control cabinet
Operating environment: -10°C to 55°C at 15-95% RH non-condensing
Specify detector type at order (GT-C100 for methane, GQ-C100G/GQ-C100B for other gases)
Document channel-to-tank assignments on as-built drawings for troubleshooting
System Integration
The cabinet outputs nine 3-wire 4-20 mA channels directly to the central gas alarm control cabinet. Compatible with GT-C100, GQ-C100G and GQ-C100B detectors for oxygen, methane, hydrogen, and additional gases upon request.
Key Capabilities
