Product Description
GCF-M10 Gas Alarm Control Cabinet
112-Channel Central Hub with Dual Power Redundancy and 30-Minute Backup
Product Overview
The GCF-M10 Gas Alarm Control Cabinet serves as the central hub for shipboard gas detection systems. Installed in duty rooms or control rooms, it processes concentration signals from gas detectors, displays real-time data, triggers audible and visual alarms when thresholds are exceeded, and integrates with ventilation systems, PLC, DCS, and fire-protection equipment. Featuring a large LCD display with intuitive interface and proprietary anti-interference technology, it delivers exceptional reliability and simplified maintenance.
Key Features
  • Dual power supply redundancy with independent backup power
  • Rapid sampling period under 8 ms
  • Advanced cabinet design with anti-corrosion and anti-vibration properties
  • Zoned monitoring capability with touch screen interface and OPC UA protocol
  • Cascade design supporting 112 input channels and 32 output channels in flexible combinations
  • Main/backup power design with dual-switch redundancy
  • 112 detectors continue operation for 30 minutes after power loss
Operational Principle
The system scans up to 112 channels of 3-wire 4-20 mA signals with a sampling period under 8 ms, ensuring the entire detector network is evaluated faster than any single point can change state. When threshold breaches occur, the system activates LED light alarms and buzzers, while simultaneously engaging 16 relay output channels and 4 controllable power outputs to initiate ventilation, trigger fire-protection equipment, and activate area alarms automatically.
Application Scenarios
  • LNG carriers and LNG-fuelled vessels
  • Bulk carriers, oil tankers and chemical tankers
  • Offshore platforms and FPSOs
  • Naval and coast-guard vessels
  • Shipyards and new-build sea trials
  • Any vessel or offshore installation requiring centralized gas monitoring with fire-protection linkage
